Meet the 2023 Little Miss Shippensburg Fair
Miss Adalyn Berkey was selected as 2023 Little Miss Shippensburg Community Fair on Monday, July 24, 2023.
Adalyn is the 9-year-old daughter of Eric and Sara Berkey of Shippensburg. Adalyn loves coming to the fair and has attended every fair since she was a baby! Adalyn is involved in cheerleading, softball, and gymnastics. When she is not doing those things, Adalyn loves to play with her friends, play video games, sing, do crafts, and be with her dogs, Tucker, and Java. Adalyn also has a fish, Phinneas. Adalyn will be going into 4th grade at the Shippensburg Area Intermediate School next year.
Adalyn represents the Fair and town of Shippensburg year-round in many events throughout the community including parades, children’s events, and other activities!
Keely Todd, 2023 Little Miss Princess
2023 Little Miss Princess
Miss Keely Todd serves as 2023 Little Miss Princess, and the alternate to the 2023 Little Miss Shippensburg Community Fair.
Keely is the 8-year-old daughter of Steve & Alisha Todd of Shippensburg. She also has a little sister named Brea. Last year, Keely attended James Burd Elementary School where she received awards for being “Safe, Respectful, and Ready.” Her favorite subjects are Reading, Writing, and Art. This year Keely is excited to enter 4th grade and will be attending SAIS. Keely enjoys staying active and playing sports. She plays basketball, travel soccer, and does gymnastics. Keely is a member of the Shippensburg Cub Scout Pack 251. She has a lot of fun learning new things and giving back to the community. In her free time, she loves to create and write her own stories, go camping, go to Hershey Park, and spend time with family. Keely loves coming to the fair so she can ride the rides, see friends from school, and hang out with family.
Along with the Little Miss and rest of the royalty court, Keely represents the Fair and town of Shippensburg in many events throughout the year including parades, children’s events, and other community activities!
Contest Information
The Little Miss Shippensburg Community Fair Contest is for young ladies ages 7 to 9. The competition teaches responsibility, poise, public speaking ability and good sportsmanship to its participants. Each year, hundreds of fairgoers pack the hill behind the stage to witness the crowning of the new Little Miss Shippensburg Community Fair.
